PATE

Let's talk pâté; this sometimes underestimated treat is a fantastic addition to your dog's daily treat allowance, whether you are wanting to use it for training or just add some extra flavor to your dog's normal food.

Pâté is appropriate for dogs from 8 weeks of age (always supervise). This means it makes an ideal high-value reward training treat in those early days.

There are many ways you can use pâté.

Slice it into cubes like our pal Larry has; this is an ideal way to use it for training.

Spread it onto your Lickimat for some extra mental enrichment.

Grate it onto your dog's normal food for some extra flavor.

Stuff it into a Kong, a plain hoof, or even a buffalo ear (any ear will do).

Refrigerate it pâté will last around 5 days opened in the fridge

Freeze it: Cut it into your desired shapes and freeze. Just defrost the amount you need so there is absolutely no waste.

There's just no end to the use of pâté, and with it coming in a variety of flavors, your dog will never get bored of it.

Soft in texture but firm enough to hold while training.

Low in fat

High in protein

And at only, on average, 150 calories per 100g, what's not to love?
